Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom born
on 1 March 1983, also known as MC Mary Kom, is
an Indian boxer. She is a five-time World
Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have
won a medal in each one of the six world championships. She is the only
Indian woman boxer who have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics and winning
the bronze medal. She has also been ranked as No. 4 World Women's
Ranking Flyweight category.

directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali on a story Mary Kom. Rob Miller of
ReelSports, the sports action director for Chak De! India and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, coordinated the sports action sequences for the
film. Based on the life of the Indian boxer Mary
Kom, film stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead. Sunil Thapa, Darshan Kumaar, Shishir Sharma and Zachary Coffin also star in the movie.
The film is release on 5th September 2014 and premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2014.
